Joël is a master student in economics with specialization in financial economics at the university of St.Gallen (HSG).  He is polyglotte (6) and in addition to his studies at HSG, Joël is pursing a formation (COS) in Applied Data Science of the EPFL with aims to finds applications in financial economics and macroeconomics. His machine learning projects aim to recognize and to understand among others the large volatility shocks. He is also deeply interested about the digital transformation and new topics like decentralized finance and blockchain. When he is not into numbers, he  likes hikking and climbing (Via Ferrata) and he is passionate about watches. Moreover he has a strong interest for central and eastern Europe culture and he has conversional skills in Ukrainian and Russian.
